The B-1B Lancer, nicknamed "The Bone" is a supersonic, variable-sweep wong, heavy bomber used by the United States Air Force for long-range and multi-mission purposes. The XFly Model B-1B Lancer twin 70mm EDF jet is a scale replica of this iconic aircraft. Designed with meticulous attention to detail. Featuring a swept wing mechanism to allow for variable wing sweep with the flick of a switch. Electric retractable landing gear and LED navigation & Landing lights.
To simplify wiring and setup, th B-1B features a pre-installed mixing circuit board that controls all the servos, landing gear and wing sweep functions along with the LED lighting package. The control board also includes a pre-tuned gyro sensor to enhance flight stability in all flight configurations allowing pilots to fly with minimal manual operation. While not a beginner model, the B-1B flight control system enables the model to be flown by moderately experienced EDF jet pilots. Experienced pilots can switch off the gyro and experience the sense of realism brought by manual handling.
The XFly B-1B lancer features scale CNC landing gear assemblies for outstanding durability and scale realism. The aircraft is easy to assemble without the need for glue and the wings and aft fuselage assembly can be removed for convenient transport to the flying field.
The power system features twin 70mm EDF Pro 12-blade ducted fan units for scale sound and performance. 3060-200kV motors and twin 80A ESCs provide ample thrust for the B-1B Lancer to perform loops, rolls and inverted flight. The variable sweep wing allows for a high speed and low speed flight envelope just like the real thing. The full flying horizontal stab delivers scale realism and a unique flying experience.
