It has to be precise, comfortable, powerful, and reliable. The Traxxas TQi radio system arrives with a full compliment of tuning features; long-range, high-output, 2.4GHz signal, and proven Traxxas reliability for rock-solid performance. It's so advanced; it doesn't even need an external antenna. However, the most important new feature may already be in your pocket. The TQi can be equipped with an optional Traxxas Link Wireless Module (#6511) that turns your iPad®, iPad mini®, iPhone® or iPod touch® into a powerful tuning tool for your Traxxas model. The full-color display combines with the Traxxas Link™ App to deliver an intuitive, high-definition, full-color graphical user interface that unlocks the mysteries of optimizing your radio system for ultimate vehicle control.
5-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQi 2.4GHz micro receiver fits easily into any vehicle, and features dual channel-1 outputs for easy installation in vehicles with dual steering servos—no Y-harness necessary! The integrated LINK button makes it fast and easy to bind the receiver, and the two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. Traxxas Link Model Memory allows the receiver to recognize up to thirty TQi 2.4Ghz Traxxas Link enabled transmitters—just switch on and drive. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is built-in and does not need to be set or activated. Three telemetry ports are incorporated in the 5-channel receiver to allow real-time data to be transmitted from your Traxxas model to the TQi transmitter.
EVX-2 Waterproof Electronic Speed Control
The EVX-2 delivers an incredible 16-plus volts, from two battery packs, making 16.8-volt, twin-motor setups more powerful than ever! Designed by Traxxas, the EVX-2 features a completely waterproof design, three drive profiles, LiPo, NiCad, and NiMH compatible with two-stage low-voltage detection, Thermal Shutdown Protection, and gold-plated high-current battery connectors. The EVX-2 also includes patent-pending Training Mode.™ This profile reduces the overall power output of the EVX-2 by 50% making it easier for young/new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power operation.
Traxxas 4-amp DC Peak Detecting Fast Charger
E-Revo includes a 4amp peak detecting charger for quick, convenient, hassle-free charging. The charger uses a 12-Volt DC power outlet for charging in the field. The brilliant LED provides charging status while the battery charges. The peak-detecting charger is optimized for charging Traxxas Power Cell NiMH battery packs. Just plug the included Power Cell battery in for a perfect charge, run after run.
Futuristic Chassis Design
The ground-breaking E-Revo chassis sets a benchmark for electric monster truck looks and performance. The E-Revo chassis combines art and function to deliver a lightweight, integrated, and rigid platform that maximizes strength and reduces weight. Looking forward, the chassis was designed to accommodate new battery technologies and for the extreme speeds and torque of brushless power systems. By combining the battery compartments with the chassis design, the battery packs can sit low and close to the center of the truck, plus valuable chassis surface is freed up to accommodate the electronics for a clean layout. This keeps the center of gravity (CG) as low as possible and increases side-to-side agility by keeping most of the weight close to the center.
Electric power was not an afterthought on E-Revo. From the start, the chassis tightly incorporated the power system and waterproof electronics into the design. The integrated battery compartments position the weight of the batteries as low and as close to the centerline of the chassis as possible. E-Revo’s low center of gravity and balanced weight distribution yields the best handling Revo platform ever.
