• Painted fiberglass details include traditional time savers like the cowl and wheel pants, as well as added extras that include updated, one-piece wing and landing gear struts, Horner wing tips and molded-in corrugations for control surfaces.
• The lighting system includes a Mars beacon as well as landing and nav lights. It's a costly add-on with some kits, but an installed extra on the Skylane 182 ARF.
• The full cockpit interior includes seats and sides, plus a redesigned 3D instrument panel. Details include raised dials and control yokes, as well as color graphics.
• The accessory/hardware package includes staples like the steerable nosewheel and extras that include a beautifully polished aluminum spinner.

• Open the box, and you’re already half-way to the flight line. The assembled all-wood airframe is straight, strong and rich in factory-installed hardware. Painted fiberglass parts and rich MonoKote® film add Cessna-style color and trim.
• A generous handful of strong, light fiberglass parts enhance scale appearance, but help hold assembly time to just 18-25 hours. They include everything from the antenna that cover wing bolt holes and authentic Horner wing tips to built-in “corrugations” on control surfaces and one-piece wing and landing gear struts.
• This sleek, one-piece boot/gear strut bolts invisibly to the fuselage, presenting a cleaner, more authentic line between the two. A wide, flat flange provides more contact area and a more stable connection between the boot and wheel pant.
• A cockpit kit is usually an option, but it’s a built-in bonus with the Cessna 182 Skylane ARF. It goes beyond a floor and door panels to include seats, control yokes and an extraordinarily realistic instrument panel. Raised dials, recessed controls and finely detailed instruments give it a true 3D appearance.
• The twin landing lights are factory-installed and fully operational — and so is the red MARS beacon on top of the fin!
• A painted fiberglass cowl helps you reproduce the distinctive Skylane silhouette with next-to-no effort. A gleaming aluminum spinner helps draw the eye and complete the resemblance to the full-size craft.
• You can maximize ease with a 2-stroke, or go with a 4-stroke for more scale-like speeds and more realistic scale sound.
• When it comes to power for your Cessna Skylane, you can go with glow or choose brushless electric power instead. Parts and instructions for both are included in the box. The choices are yours — and performance is great with either one. A magnetically sealed battery hatch on the bottom of the fuselage simplifies pack changes without affecting scale looks.
