T-34B Mentor Gold Edition 1/5

For almost 50 years the T-34 Mentor had been a primary trainer for new U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots. Many full-size Mentors exists today—yet there are few R/C models around—but Top Flite is presenting this favorite flyer in a 1/5 scale kit that performs as realistically as it looks. With it's Gold Edition engineering and lots of scale touches, the T-34B Mentor will be a proud addition to any R/Cer's military model hangar.

Fully interlocking I-beam, D-tube wing construction helps keep assembly simple and straightforward.

Scale operational flaps are an option that greatly increases performance. Dual aileron servos offer easier setup and more precise response.

The Mentor will fly well with a .61 2-stroke engine. A 4-stroke power plant will also fit inside the cowl.

A detailed cockpit kit is available that further enhances the Mentor's appearance.

The fuse and wings are fully sheeted in 3/32" balsa for added strength, while the tail section is sheeted in 1/16" balsa for lighter weight.

The cowl and tail cone are made of heavy-duty ABS plastic for durability.

Selig 3086 and 3087 airfoils deliver comforting stability for smooth flight and basic aerobatics.

The large canopy can be installed to slide open and closed, and can be enhanced with a full cockpit kit and scale pilot figures (sold separately).

Performance options for after market sales include operational flaps and retractable landing gear.
