FEATURES
- 15 detailed black parts that snap together - no glue necessary.
- One decal sheet with markings for one aircraft. Decals include: - USAF, U.S. Air Force, 17978, 978, two tiger heads, two shark mouths with eyes, two bats, two lightning bolts, and two red bird heads.
First flown in December 1964, the Lockheed SR-71A spy plane - nicknamed
"Blackbird" - was the most dramatic aircraft to ever fly the skies. Designed
to be the ultimate "spy-in-the-sky," it is still probably the fastest and
highest flying jet plane ever built and was impossible to catch before it was
retired from service in 1990. Flying at such high speeds and altitude, the
pilots of the SR-71 wore protective flight suits similar to what the astronauts
use.
