Brilliant Covering
The late Andy Sheber, long known for outstanding AMA Nationals Scale Models, twice winner of the Testors Best Finish Award and FAI world competition judge, designed the legendary Sheber Pitts series of 1/4 and 1/3 scale biplanes. At a Tournament of Champions a 1/3 scale Sheber Pitts S2A astounded the modeling community with its absolute scale appearance and performance. These Andy Sheber designs were recognized by Curtis Pitts himself as “the ultimate model" of his famous S1S.
Now RC Guys carries on the tradition of Andy Sheber's excellence with a new Sheber Pitts 1/3 size S1S ARF. This accurate scale model (drawn by Andy Sheber from Pitts factory drawings) is lightweight and as a result a superb performer.
The RC Guys 1/3 size S1S ARF started with a prototype built and flown by Pete Waters (AMA VP) and assistance from Joe Ziomek (former Nationals Champion)
