FEATURES
The Sanson was a type of high-sea tugboat in service between the late 1800s and early 1900s. Driven by a steam boiler that could produce up to 2000 hp and achieve speeds up to 14 knots, Sanson tugboats were capable of quickly traversing the roughest waters to assist much larger vessels in distress at sea during this peak period of trans-oceanic commercial and passenger travel.
This high-quality kit includes high-precision laser-cut wood parts and strips; brass portholes, turnbuckles, and winches; 2 colors of rigging thread; intricately detailed windlass, cloth fender lashings, canvas lashings for the lifeboats, brass navigation lights and more.
