FEATURES
Easycoat is a polyester covering film for model aircraft which is applied using a covering iron, or heat gun. Excellent shrinking quality and extremely easy application make it a perfect choice for covering many types of models.
Manufactured using a special polyester based material and a special pigmented Thermo-activated iron-on adhesive. Symmetrical shrinking qualities can be directly and easily regulated by applying heat with the help of a hobby covering iron or heat gun.
For standard ironing you need approximately 100 to 120°C. At this temperature Easycoat keeps relatively stable dimensions. The material will begin to shrink in equal proportions as the temperature rises above 120° At 150°C there will be approximately 10% shrinkage biaxially (lengthwise and crosswise). Melting point of 250°C. Easycoat contains no heavy metals.
