Wells are built-in for optional pneumatic or mechanical retracts — but covered to preserve the model’s looks if you choose to install the included fixed landing gear.

For easier engine installation and set-up, the painted fiberglass cowl is removable — not molded as part of the fuselage.

The Dirty Birdy easily accommodates a standard muffler or tuned pipe. A wooden hardpoint is built into the wing for secure tuned pipe attachment.

All of the model’s control surfaces have been hinged at the factory for fast final assembly.

The halves of the balsa-sheeted horizontal stabilizer slide onto carbon fiber tubes, aligning perfectly, securely and automatically.

Removing the Dirty Birdy’s wing provides quick, easy access to your on-board radio equipment.
