This design is the brain child of the "Angry Swordsman", Also known as Eric Monroe. Eric makes a living by shooting aerials for TV, weddings, and of course Flitetest! His desire was to make a great DIY AP platform for those who want an amazing flight and filming experience on their own terms and budget. The Y6 makes an amazing platform because of its ease of build, redundancy in motors, and its layout keeps the motors from entering your shot. This platform is also sold with a refined version of Eric’s landing gear and mount system. The FT Rail system enable the pilot to easily switch gear and always maintain proper center of gravity. Go from a gimbal to a fixed-mount in seconds. The rail system also includes a handy driver to make adjustments in the field quickly. The Y6 may be DIY.... But it will not let you down when it comes to getting the perfect shot!
