This beautiful true-scale rubber powered/ electric powered r/c model has a wing span of 27". It's a proven contest winner. When the Jug first arrived it was met with mixed emotions. Used to the sleek lines of the Spit, P-39 and P-40, pilots had many misgivings. It became the butt of many jokes. Quickly this aircraft was to prove the wisdom of this design. With countless sorties flown this big aircraft returned from missions sporting large chunks shot away and light showing thru the airframe. Even with engine cylinders blown off this brute would bring its pilots back home safely.
