The original LILLA DAN was built in 1951 by a well known shipyard in Svenborg, Denmark - J Ring Andersen. The vessel was ordered by the Lauritzen shipping company in Copenhagen for use in training cadets at their navigation school near Svendborg. The ship is built primarily of oak and beech wood.

Today the LILLA DAN can be rented, complete with crew, for meetings, conferences, excursions and celebrations. The cruises can last from a few hours to several days and are carried out in Scandinavian waters.

The LILLA DAN is a 1:50 scale model kit based on the original plans, including the most recent changes which have been made to the original ship. All fittings included.
