The water cannons on board have a capacity of 400 tons per hour at a pressure of 14 atmospheres. Twelve 2" diameter hoses can be connected to one branch. The water cannon can be connected to a separate tank containing 10 tons of foam. In addition there is about 10 tons of oil binding agent on board. The boats have a bulb bow and stern jet rudder. They also carry advanced navigation, control, and radio communication equipment.
The SMIT ROTTERDAM is a 1:75 scale model of wood construction, is suitable for radio control, and comes with all fittings.
