Foto/Frisketâ„¢ is a transparent self-adhering masking and stenciling material which is cut directly on your work. It is available in both gloss and matte finishes.
Fine artists, studio illustrators, retouchers, designers and hobbyists can utilize this film in situations that demand hard edges and accurate color applications such as photo retouching, medical illustration, architectural renderings, scale models, van and cycle painting, etc.
Foto/Frisket film has a specially formulated adhesive designed for easy lift off. Foto/Frisket will neither lift the surface nor strip off work already complete and leaves no residue after removal.
It has a translucent backing which permits use with a light box for cutting stencils and masks. Use Foto/Frisket on drawing, watercolor and print papers, illustration boards, gessoed surfaces, acrylic paintings, metal surfaces, automotive painting, acetate, glass, plexiglass and other plastics, prepared woods, glazed ceramics, and photographic papers.
Caution: Badger Foto/Frisketâ„¢ Film is compatible with most surface, however, very soft or textured surfaces may present difficulties. We recommend that prior to undertaking any project that requires very soft or highly textured surfaces that you first test the material. The time and materials required to complete this test will more than compensate for a major project that could be damaged.
Never leave Foto/Frisket Film on for more than eight hours—it will bond to the surface.
